FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Our constructions can be seen in well-known supermarket chains across Latvia. Our products have been used in pedestrian bridges, highway interchanges, railway transport (train cars), and energy sector pallets.
Stock availability — we maintain a wide range of black metal, stainless steel, and aluminium in stock for fast order start. Large-format capability — we work with metal sheets up to 2.5 × 6.5 metres, enabling complex, large-scale projects.
Located in central Baltic States, we efficiently deliver to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and neighbouring countries. We are approximately equidistant from the Baltic capitals, reducing logistics costs and making us competitive even for Lithuanian clients closer to us than their local suppliers.
At the initial stage we carefully gather all client requirements. If a request exceeds our capabilities, we promptly inform the client. If a material is unavailable, we actively search for alternatives. After fulfilment, we review all feedback and regularly analyse issues to prevent recurrence.
Customers most often ask about pricing and production lead times, quality and manufacturing of complex parts (including non-standard components requiring multiple processing cycles), delivery deadlines and conditions, and order configurations with part labelling and traceability requirements.
We always take customer feedback seriously — both positive and critical. We use it to improve our services continuously. Customers notice the improvements and express their gratitude, which fosters ongoing and stronger collaboration.
Our comprehensive service offering allows clients to significantly reduce project costs through efficient solutions. Working with large-format sheets and a wide range of materials optimises the production process, reduces waste and time costs, contributing directly to successful project outcomes.
Value is created through quality and on-time delivery — our core commitment. We carefully select raw material sources, and our wide geography of supply with well-established logistics allows us to offer competitive pricing while maintaining European quality standards.
The most important step is sending a request. Based on the received request, our team provides comprehensive information about feasibility, potential risks, and key aspects requiring special attention. Send your project details to info@ritausmas.lv or use our quote form.
We need: Detail shape — drawing or description of the part. Material — steel type, grade and thickness. Quantity — number of pieces required. Requirements — tolerances, surface quality, special characteristics. Ideally, provide files in DXF, DWG, JPEG, PDF or STEP formats.
We accept DXF, DWG, STEP, PDF, JPEG and PNG. Upload files directly through our price request form or send to info@ritausmas.lv.

Process Digitalisation Project

In April 2026, SIA “Rītausmas Steel Constructions”, using financial support received from the EU Recovery Fund for process digitalisation, carried out a project under the LIAA programme “Support for Process Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence Solutions”. As a result of the project, a comprehensive digitalisation of the company’s operations was carried out, introducing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

The implemented system will provide: fully automated warehouse material flow and accounting; the ability to monitor and plan financial resources, including cash-flow management and cost accounting; the ability to monitor and plan deliveries, production processes and schedules; the ability to track the use of materials and labour resources, as well as oversee the flow and status of orders and projects; and automatic working-time accounting in production processes. Automatic programming of production processes (laser cutting, plasma cutting and bending) will also be introduced, helping to decide which resource to use in production.

As a result of the project, the company’s overall productivity, competitiveness and energy efficiency will be improved.
